Melissa Merendino will serve as the Monday through Thursday Lead Teacher for CFCP&LC. Missie graduated from Toccoa Falls College in Georgia with her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She taught preschool for several years at First English Lutheran Preschool in Mansfield and Grace Christian School in Lexington. Missie also works part-time as the Children’s Ministry Director at Clear Fork Alliance Church and resides in Bellville with her husband Matt and four children.
Paige Born will serve as our other Monday – Thursday Lead Teacher at CFCP&LC. This will be her third year at CFCP&LC and she has had experience with children in multiple classroom settings in the years prior. She is currently working on her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She resides in Apple Valley with her two children.
Savannah Wade will serve as our 2-day 3/4 year old Lead Teacher. In May, 2023 Savannah graduated with her Associates in Education. Also in early August she completed a licensure program to receive her Esthetics license. Savannah resides in Butler.
Lynna Layfield will serve as the Childcare Teacher for CFCP&LC. Lynna has been providing in-home childcare for more than 20 years out of her home. She is a member of the Christian Education Board and is a Sunday School teacher at her church. Lynna resides in Butler with her husband, Jim. She has four children and nine grandchildren.
Emily Walder will serve as a Latchkey Teacher. Emily has worked with children for many years through private childcare and working in the childcare setting. Emily resides in Butler.
Heather Keener will serve as a Latchkey Teacher. Heather Keener graduated from the University of South Florida with a liberal arts degree. She has an extensive background in social services. She recently moved to Butler from Florida with her husband, two kids and two huskies.
Anita Weiss will serve as our Classroom Assistant this year. Anita has been in the childcare profession for 27 years. She lives in Bellville with her husband Ron, has one son and five grandchildren.
